Faro Health Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer to join a dynamic team building an AI-powered clinical trial design platform. You will contribute to highly interactive, scalable single-page React applications and develop modular software components.

What You'll Do

Actively contribute to building highly interactive, scalable single-page React applications.
Design, develop, and test modular software components that integrate into the larger system.
Use problem-solving skills to independently identify and resolve issues during design, testing, and maintenance.
Collaborate effectively by communicating complex ideas clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Deliver exceptional user experiences by deeply understanding and empathizing with customer needs.

What We're Looking For

5-6 years of experience contributing to highly scalable, distributed software products with SaaS architectures and multi-tenancy.
Understanding of microservice architecture, RESTful Services, and CQRS services.
Hands-on experience in: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Redis Cache, Postgres, Docker.
Experience designing relational schemas on relational data stores like PostgreSQL, MySQL.
Experience with cloud-service providers like Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on different assignments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent training experience.

Nice to Have

Experience in a fast moving, growth-minded startup, and comfort with being flexible and adaptable as requirements change.

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation: $138,000 to $165,000 + equity. Equity is a major component of total compensation with higher-than-average equity for a company of our size.
