About the Role
We are seeking an experienced iOS engineer to lead the development of core product features, improve app performance, and deliver seamless user experiences on mobile.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key features for the iOS application
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define new functionality
- Optimize performance and responsiveness of the mobile app
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Diagnose and fix bugs reported by users or QA
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Implement UI components following design specifications
- Integrate with backend services and APIs
- Stay current with iOS platform updates and best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions for the mobile stack
- Ensure app stability across a range of devices and OS versions
- Support release management and deployment processes
- Monitor app performance using analytics and crash reporting tools
- Improve accessibility and localization support
- Work with security team to implement data protection measures
- Help define technical roadmap for iOS product evolution
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team
- Evaluate third-party libraries and tools for integration
- Contribute to automated testing frameworks
- Ensure compliance with App Store guidelines
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
- Gather feedback from users and support teams
- Troubleshoot integration issues with external services
- Document technical designs and implementation details
- Support A/B testing and feature flagging systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with audio or media processing applications
- Familiarity with machine learning integration on iOS
- Knowledge of ARKit or other immersive frameworks
- Experience with offline-first app design
- Background in performance-critical applications
- Open source contributions in mobile space
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks
- Published apps in the App Store
