About the Role
The engineer will lead development on core iOS features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality code delivery through testing and iteration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core functionality within the iOS application
- Collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features
- Optimize app performance and responsiveness
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Diagnose and fix bugs across various iOS versions and devices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Improve application stability and crash-free usage rates
- Integrate with backend services and APIs
- Support accessibility and localization efforts
- Stay current with iOS platform updates and best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term scalability
- Work closely with QA to resolve reported issues
- Implement analytics and monitoring tools
- Ensure compliance with App Store guidelines
- Help define technical roadmaps for iOS development
- Mentor junior engineers when needed
- Evaluate third-party libraries and tools
- Support release management and deployment processes
- Improve build times and CI/CD workflows
- Troubleshoot user-reported issues
- Enhance offline functionality and data synchronization
- Implement secure data handling practices
- Refactor legacy code for maintainability
- Collaborate on feature prioritization with stakeholders
- Conduct technical investigations for new initiatives
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
- Familiarity with audio playback and streaming technologies
- Knowledge of machine learning integration on-device
- Experience with internationalization and localization
- Contributions to open-source iOS projects
- Published applications in the App Store
- Experience with performance benchmarking tools
- Understanding of A/B testing frameworks
