About the Role
The engineer will lead development efforts on the iOS application, focusing on core functionality, system architecture, and seamless integration with backend services to enhance product reliability and speed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key features within the iOS application
- Optimize app performance and responsiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements
- Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure compatibility across iOS versions and devices
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Integrate with backend APIs and data services
- Improve testing coverage and reliability
- Contribute to architectural decisions for iOS components
- Support deployment and release processes
- Monitor app stability and respond to crash reports
- Enhance accessibility and localization features
- Stay current with iOS platform updates and best practices
- Work closely with designers to implement intuitive UIs
- Refactor legacy code to modern standards
- Evaluate third-party libraries and tools
- Document technical designs and implementation details
- Mentor junior engineers when needed
- Contribute to sprint planning and agile workflows
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Improve build times and development tooling
- Drive initiatives to increase app store rating and retention
- Collaborate on feature analytics and user feedback loops
- Support A/B testing and feature flagging systems
