Snowflake is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team. This paid, full-time internship focuses on challenging projects guided by experts and provides the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to real systems used by customers.
What You'll Do
- Provide meaningful contributions to a real system used by customers.
- Work on challenging projects in areas such as product experiences, high-performance large-scale data processing, distributed systems, SaaS platform, or software frameworks.
- Learn how to build enterprise-grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services.
What We're Looking For
- A 3rd or 4th year Undergraduate, Masters, or PhD student.
- Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Required coursework: algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
- Excellent programming skills in C++ or Java.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with working as a part of a team.
- Dedication and passion for technology.
Nice to Have
- Recommended coursework: cloud computing, database systems, distributed systems, and real-time programming.
- Bonus experience: working experience, research or publications in databases or distributed systems, and contributions to open source.
