About the Role
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain full-stack applications focused on improving card acquisition processes, ensuring reliability, performance, and a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications for card acquisition workflows
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code across frontend and backend systems
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
- Implement security measures to protect user data and system integrity
- Work with APIs to integrate internal and third-party services
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts and incidents
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and financial regulations
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
- Document technical designs and system changes
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
- Stay current with evolving technologies and industry trends
- Use version control systems for collaborative development
- Write automated tests to ensure software quality
- Participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine product features
- Analyze user behavior to inform technical improvements
- Design user interfaces that are intuitive and accessible
- Integrate analytics tools to measure feature effectiveness
- Collaborate on incident response and post-mortem reviews
- Evaluate new tools and frameworks for potential adoption
- Ensure applications meet accessibility standards
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in fintech or financial services industry
- Knowledge of payment systems or card networks
- Experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with TypeScript best practices
- Experience with server-side rendering frameworks
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as SOC 2
- Experience with A/B testing platforms
- Background in user experience research
- Familiarity with data modeling and schema design
