About the Role
As a Software Engineer I on the Agentic AI Interfaces team, you will help develop and maintain backend systems that support the web application’s search, content discovery, and artificial intelligence capabilities, collaborating with senior engineers and partners to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services that power search functionality with a focus on performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Help implement features related to search and AI technologies, such as indexing, result retrieval, and ranking algorithms to enhance search precision and speed.
- Work alongside engineering teams, AI specialists, and product stakeholders to integrate search and AI functionalities across the platform.
- Engage in system monitoring and performance optimization, identifying common bottlenecks and applying targeted improvements to maintain low query latency.
- Collaborate with distributed, cross-functional teams including product management, frontend developers, and UX designers to ensure cohesive search experiences.
- Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in backend development, search systems, and artificial intelligence.
