Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new and existing software systems and features as a Go and/or Python specialist, primarily for video content delivery at scale.
- Ensure consistent and diligent peer review of code and configuration changes within maintained repository structures and CI/CD pipeline deployments.
- Author design documents and collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Work closely with the SRE team to ensure deployed systems are reliable, resilient, scalable, and perform optimally using common modern technologies.
- Utilize observability systems and advanced analytics to surface issues, drive diagnosis, and implement improvements.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results in a fast-paced, agile environment.
