A skilled software engineer will join a team supporting federal agencies in advancing earth science data systems through cloud-based tools for discovery, transformation, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

Engage in full-cycle software development, including user story creation, design, coding, automated testing, and operational support.
Enhance code quality through active participation in peer reviews and adherence to established engineering standards.
Collaborate with fellow engineers to advance technical capabilities and consistently implement industry best practices.
Lead execution of small to medium-scale features with guidance from senior technical staff.
Communicate technical details clearly and effectively to engineering colleagues.
