Responsibilities
- Contribute to a scaling data engineering team that enables data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead the evolution of the data platform to integrate diverse data sources and support streaming, operational, and research use cases.
- Partner with trading, quantitative research, technology, and business operations teams to map data lifecycle and prioritize high-value initiatives.
- Develop and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines within a hybrid cloud environment using Kubernetes/EKS, Kafka/MSK, and Databricks/Spark.
- Guide junior engineers in writing robust, maintainable, and scalable data systems following industry best practices.
- Deliver well-documented, thoroughly tested, and production-ready code for mission-critical data services.
- Create automated testing frameworks to validate data integrity, timeliness, and accuracy against defined SLAs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems to exceed the capabilities of the current technology stack.
Compensation
Minimum base salary starts at $145,000; exact compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Eligible for discretionary performance bonus.
