Responsibilities
- Participate fully in the application development lifecycle, emphasizing secure coding and debugging practices
- Create and sustain efficient, reusable, and dependable code and APIs for web and mobile applications
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, QA, design, and development to turn business needs into technical implementations
- Partner with front-end developers to connect user interfaces with server-side components
- Detect performance bottlenecks and software defects, then develop and apply corrective solutions
- Enhance web applications for speed, scalability, and secure operation
- Apply industry-standard security measures to protect sensitive data and defend against threats
- Develop automated tests and collaborate with automation specialists to meet business requirements and enable regression testing
- Provide direct software support tailored to user needs
- Keep current with evolving technologies and trends to improve backend systems
- Record operational procedures and support documentation
- Guide and mentor junior developers to support their technical growth
