Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using modern development frameworks.
- Ensure systems operate with high performance and reliability across distributed environments.
- Support platforms handling inference, billing, AI tools, observability, and developer workflows.
- Create secure, efficient, and scalable system architectures to meet growing product demands.
- Work closely with infrastructure teams on deployment strategies, monitoring, and optimization.
- Produce clean, well-documented, and maintainable codebases.
- Engage in code reviews and help shape technical standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, platform, and AI/ML teams to deliver model-as-a-service solutions for developers and enterprise clients.
- Align with teams across AI Studio, Le Chat, and Mistral Code for a unified platform experience.
- Solve difficult engineering problems involving distributed systems and AI integration.
- Keep current with emerging technologies such as large language models, observability tools, and backend frameworks, integrating them into production when appropriate.
