Design, build, and maintain large-scale backend systems used by millions of users
Contribute to our technical roadmap and define the architecture for key product areas
Drive improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and security
Help transition parts of our monolithic codebase to a microservices architecture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Brazil and the U.S.
Work on high-impact features that directly improve the user experience for Dashers, Merchants, or Consumers

1+ years of experience with backend technologies and distributed systems
Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software
Comfortable with modern web architecture (HTTP, REST APIs, grpc, microservices)
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Enjoy solving complex problems with elegant code and clear thinking
Comfortable collaborating in English, including participating in meetings and code reviews
Fluent in English and confident participating in meetings and code reviews
Care about quality and write tests to ensure your code works as expected
Take ownership and enjoy working with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
