Responsabilidades
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale backend systems used by millions of users
- Contribute to our technical roadmap and define the architecture for key product areas
- Drive improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Help transition parts of our monolithic codebase to a microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Brazil and the U.S.
- Work on high-impact features that directly improve the user experience for Dashers, Merchants, or Consumers
Requisitos
- 1+ years of experience with backend technologies and distributed systems
- Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software
- Comfortable with modern web architecture (HTTP, REST APIs, grpc, microservices)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Enjoy solving complex problems with elegant code and clear thinking
- Comfortable collaborating in English, including participating in meetings and code reviews
- Fluent in English and confident participating in meetings and code reviews
- Care about quality and write tests to ensure your code works as expected
- Take ownership and enjoy working with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
Diferenciais
- Experience working at a tech company with scale
- Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, or similar JVM languages
- Exposure to big data technologies or event-driven architecture
- Interest in mentorship or growing into a technical leadership role
