Wispr Flow is hiring a Software Engineer, Android

Responsibilities

  • Build Wispr's Android voice interface from scratch
  • Improve the core Flow voice dictation experience
  • Prototype and ship new voice interface features
  • Design floating overlay UI/UX
  • Integrate tightly with accessibility APIs

Requirements

  • Previous founding or startup experience
  • Fluency in Kotlin
  • Shipped multiple Android apps to large userbases
  • User-focused design intuition and design taste
  • Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  • Aptitude and clarity of thought
  • Creativity, excellence in engineering, and code velocity
  • Built personal projects or contributed to open source in Kotlin
  • Incredible attention to detail on design and animations
  • Care towards code quality and UX
  • Strong programming practices and high-throughput of code across the stack
  • Outstanding team player and communicator

Additional Information

  • If in San Francisco: expected in the office most days, with most of the team present five days a week
