Responsibilities
- Evaluate user requirements and software specifications to design feasible solutions within project timelines and budgetary limits.
- Create, implement, and refine software designs while defining performance benchmarks.
- Build scalable applications and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, and testing.
- Lead or oversee software testing, validation, and documentation efforts, and design fixes for system performance issues.
- Generate project documentation, status updates, and technical correspondence related to development activities.
- Support infrastructure development, enhance cloud computing efficiency, reduce storage costs, and assist in designing new cloud-based initiatives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts from diverse domains to define software design, gather requirements, and understand system constraints and interfaces.
- Address high-impact infrastructure challenges in the autonomy sector by delivering advanced technical solutions.
- Develop and sustain software for autonomous and mobility platforms, with a focus on sophisticated motion and behavior planning for off-road vehicles.
- Operate across the entire technology stack, managing full-stack development, simulation, testing, and infrastructure components.
- Design and implement collision-aware motion and behavior planning systems to deliver safe, efficient, and scalable algorithms that meet internal and customer requirements.
