JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring a Software Engineer to serve as a seasoned member of an agile team. You will design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way, carrying out critical solutions across multiple technical areas to support the firm’s business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Participate in designing and developing scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner using Java and React/Angular.
- Design, write, comment, and unit test code to ensure software modules are of the highest quality.
- Build Microservices for the bank’s internal cloud and public cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with teams in multiple regions and time zones.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, contribute to task completion, and help resolve blockers.
- Maintain technical acumen through formal and informal learning opportunities.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve delivery flow.
What We're Looking For
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Applied experience in a Java Full stack role.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, Database, Angular or React JS, CI/CD, AWS, designing features, and production issue debugging.
- Understanding of architecture and design across systems and proficiency in developmental toolsets.
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
