Capital One is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Back End to drive transformation within our Bank Tech division. You’ll be part of a collaborative, agile team that builds and pioneers with emerging technologies to solve complex business problems and meet customer needs.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
Technical Stack
- Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, Scala
- Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Docker, Kubernetes
- AWS tools and services
