Braze is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team responsible for the NICE CXone software platform. You will design, develop, test, and maintain products and features, supporting production and collaborating within an agile team environment.
What You'll Do
- Work as an Individual Contributor on complex Reporting based projects
- Interpret business requirements and discuss them with the technical team and designers
- Participate in technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts
- Design and develop NICE CXone products and features
- Perform unit testing and code reviews
- Resolve defects encountered during the QA cycle
- Support the production environment
- Assist other developers in a team environment utilizing agile development processes
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer (Web & Server side using Java)
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
- Expertise in application development using Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, web services standards and related technologies (JSON, REST)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-tier web application development
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts
- Exposure & hands-on experience with Agile framework & DevOps tools
- Experience with automation at the unit and system level (jUnit/TestNG)
- Strong understanding of Performance Tuning and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience using MicroStrategy or similar tools
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery and Test-Driven Development
- Demonstrated ability to influence others, especially in sensitive or complex situations
- Great initiative: proven ability to tackle projects with a can-do attitude
- Proven experience in operating within a global environment
- Comfortable with working in a complex matrix environment
- Very strong verbal and written English skills
