Aumovio is hiring a Software Engineer

This role is central to the development and delivery of high-quality embedded software solutions within a collaborative engineering environment. The Software Engineer will play a key part in shaping product functionality, reliability, and performance by translating system requirements into robust code, actively participating in design reviews, and ensuring adherence to industry and organizational standards. Working closely with hardware engineers, QA teams, and project stakeholders, the engineer contributes to the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design through testing and deployment. The position emphasizes technical excellence, process compliance, and proactive communication to support on-time, high-integrity product delivery in a fast-evolving technology landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and carry out the design, implementation, and testing of software modules according to established workflows and procedures.
  • Provide support to project managers and field application engineers during product acquisition and production phases.
  • Assist the software group manager in delivering services to other departments as needed.
  • Adhere to company-defined software development processes and internal design standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with departmental and organizational requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on work progress to both the project and group managers.
  • Ensure effective internal and external communication, including timely escalation of issues within the project and software teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Information, Automation, Measuring Technology, or a related field.
  • At least three years of professional experience in software development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in embedded systems programming is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Linux OS, Android, Board Support Packages (BSP), graphics systems, Autosar, make-files, and scripting.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as GIT, Jenkins, Doors, CMMI, and ASPICE.
