At Fiserv, we are hiring a Software Development Engineering Advisor to serve as a key leader and expert in Agile development. You will be responsible for engineering new APIs and services to advance product strategy and implement customized solutions that support critical business functions.
What You'll Do
- Analyze product requirements and create technical specifications.
- Develop new APIs and services to support the broader Product Strategy.
- Develop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
- Serve as key leader, manager and expert on Agile development and engineering of new APIs.
- Perform code review and develop code and other proactive maintenance activities to keep the services up and running.
- Implement API and services which extend platform features and functionality.
- Integrate Code Quality tools and Code Analysis tools into IDEs.
- Implement Automation to improve coding efficiency.
- Ensure delivered solutions are optimized for ease-of-use, reusability, and scalability.
- Execute projects using Agile Safe Methodology.
- Lead the knowledge sharing sessions where team shares ideas and new features of the DevOps products.
- Own infrastructure in production, as well as design and create build/deploy & monitoring systems.
- Support, troubleshoot and analyze code on all 3 layers of the stack related to infrastructure, middleware, and continuous integration and delivery frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 4 years of software development experience.
- 4 years of experience developing payments industry software using Java, Kafka, Redis, Oracle and AWS.
- 4 years of experience working with SpringBoot, WebFlux, and Java Security Framework.
- 4 years of experience working with Agile methodology for software development.
