Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ongoing improvement of the test automation platform, ensuring it scales efficiently and remains dependable and user-friendly
- Create and sustain resilient automation frameworks spanning user interface, application programming interfaces, and server-side components
- Develop and refine internal quality assurance tools to increase testing speed and effectiveness
- Promote consistent use of automation best practices, coding standards, and optimized test design patterns
- Implement and manage systems for test observability, including reporting, data analytics, and insights into defects
- Execute performance, load, and scalability testing on critical features and backend services
- Build and maintain test infrastructure compatible with containerized and distributed systems
- Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to integrate quality assurance early and continuously
- Enhance test stability by developing intelligent retry mechanisms and failure root cause analysis
- Support continuous enhancement of testing tools, test data strategies, and quality checks within CI/CD pipelines
- Explore and apply new technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, and automated test generation
- Champion early testing integration by contributing to design and architecture discussions for improved testability
- Produce and maintain clear documentation and onboarding resources for test frameworks and platform usage
