About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a senior-level engineer with strong backend fundamentals and product ownership mindset, tasked with building scalable systems for ad campaign creation, optimization, reporting, and automation across multiple platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve campaign success, scalability, and system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services and APIs supporting Ads Manager functionality
- Develop integrations with major advertising platforms including Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other ad ecosystems
- Construct systems for campaign publishing, audience targeting, attribution tracking, analytics and reporting, and automated ad workflows
- Enhance the reliability of campaign publishing to minimize user drop-offs
- Engage with Product and Design teams during requirement analysis and feasibility assessments
- Contribute to architectural planning and technical decision-making processes
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Advance engineering best practices through code reviews and improvements to the software development lifecycle
- Own features from conception through to deployment and maintenance
- Actively engage in sprint planning, estimation sessions, and retrospective meetings
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance to ensure high-quality releases
- Proactively communicate progress and resolve cross-team blockers

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE3) to join the Ads Manager Team. You will work on building scalable systems and user experiences that power ad campaign creation, optimisation, reporting, and automation across multiple advertising platforms. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, AI, and Platform teams to deliver high-impact features and improve campaign success rates, scalability, and reliability. This role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals, product ownership, execution discipline, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges at scale.
