Mindtickle is seeking a Software Development Engineer III Backend to design, build, and maintain the core systems that power our platform. You will be responsible for developing scalable and reliable services that meet complex business requirements.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend services and APIs
- Architect scalable, robust, and maintainable software systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
- Debug complex issues and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and other engineering groups
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven expertise in designing and building distributed, high-volume backend systems
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go)
- Deep understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices architecture
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Work Mode
This position requires an onsite work mode. You will be based out of one of our offices in Bengaluru, Karnataka or Pune, Maharashtra.
