Responsibilities

  • As a software developer understand needs and translate those to viable product features and requirements.
  • Deliver modern software design to bring features into the large scale software platform
  • Responsibility across the full development lifecycle of requirements design implementation and testing.
  • Software development in the areas spanning: User Interface and Modern user workflow
  • Software development in the areas spanning: Web services architecture
  • Software development in the areas spanning: DICOM image creation and management
  • Software development in the areas spanning: Prescription data management and persistence
  • Software development in the areas spanning: Integrating communication infrastructure
  • Utilize modern tools for all phases of software development.
  • Collaborating with global cross-functional engineering teams Principal Engineers and Architects to build world class medical software.
  • Apply engineering expertise/experience/excellence to grow software architecture through modern and innovative design paradigms.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership with maturity in balancing scope timing and resources.
  • Demonstrate a quality mindset in all aspects of deliverable for our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a STEM major (Science Technology Engineering or Math)
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Understanding of object oriented design (OOD) methodology and strength in programming languages such as Java or C++.
  • Knowledge of the Software development lifecycle in product delivery and maintenance
  • Education in design and development of software architecture using established design patterns
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of configuration management tools software build and release methodologies
  • Able to work in a team environment by demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Capability of programing using Java Script HTML5, CSS3, Angular.js, Backbone.js
  • Knowledge on programming languages, such as, C, C++, Java, R and SQL is an advantage

This includes HTML and CSS coding, assisting in the QA, testing and the actual publishing of the websites * Assist in providing back-up design support when needed * To be part of a team that applies knowledge of web development to build and deliver custom websites and on-line advertisements (e.g., banner ads) for customers. This includes supporting website development services as well as rich media ad design / development. Qualifications: • Associates degree or related experience in a technical field required• Professional experience in web development, including website development, building site pages and developing code• Working knowledge of developing and integrating themes into WordPress• HTML page creation from raw format design files – such as Photoshop PSD files• Fluent in CSS tableless layouts and experience with CSS frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap• Ability to write, debug and test scripting languages like Javascript and experience with frameworks such as jQuery and jQueryUI• API Integration into existing CMS systems (preferably WordPress)• Managing and organizing source code revisions and files with versioning tools such as Git or SVN• Build site pages, unit test, and support the implementation of customer web sites• Analyze and document user requirements.• Maintain and update new and existing customer websites• Acquire and maintain knowledge of current standards, policies and procedures• Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional units to ensure quality• Maintain and develop technical skills to keep current in systems programming and analysis techniques Additional Information: All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
