We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our software development team. You will play a key role in creating web-based business applications focusing on back-end development. This position requires working on-site at Iglu’s Bangkok office near BTS Nana. The working language for this team is English
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
Focus primarily on back-end development using PHP, Laravel, and SQL databases.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Identify areas for improvement in existing applications and implement necessary updates.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
Write clean, maintainable code and review peers' code to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Contribute to building and maintaining software pipelines for efficient deployment.
Requirements:
Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.
Mandatory experience with: PHP, Laravel, SQL databases.
Nice-to-have experience with: TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React.
Hands-on experience deploying complex projects on Linux VMs, Docker containers, Kubernetes, private/public clouds, or hybrid environments.
Strong expertise in building and using software build pipelines.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
