Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to develop risk-focused test strategies and acceptance standards, converting user requirements into precise test scenarios.
- Design, implement, and sustain automated test suites using Cypress and TypeScript across end-to-end, integration, and API levels, including development of reusable components and stabilization of unreliable tests.
- Manage continuous integration and deployment testing checkpoints, including smoke and regression suites with parallel execution and unambiguous outcomes, while monitoring test coverage and health indicators.
- Conduct focused manual and exploratory testing on new functionality, boundary conditions, and user experience pathways, with emphasis on validating core workflows during regression cycles.
- Develop and maintain test data sets, mock services, and environment setups to ensure test consistency, reliability, and execution speed.
- Work closely with development staff to replicate, analyze, and resolve defects using diagnostic tools such as logs, metrics, and tracing; confirm resolution and guard against future recurrence.
- Lead post-release smoke validation for web and mobile platforms, authorizing release approval and recording outcomes and potential risks.
- Advance the quality assurance and test engineering ecosystem by refining tooling, coding standards, coverage targets, flakiness thresholds, and reporting interfaces.
