CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Verbraucherdienstleistungen Österreich GmbH is looking for a Software Developer (Junior level considered) to join its Travel CTO Taskforce. You will work in the dynamic online travel business, building products with Generative AI and modern technologies to shape the future of travel. In this role, you will learn directly from experienced leaders, work closely with the Director IT, and contribute strategically and technically to guide the product forward.

What You'll Do

Drive the implementation of crucial IT projects within CHECK24's travel sector as a member of the CTO Taskforce.
Independently conduct IT process optimizations across the CHECK24 group's platforms.
Contribute ideas for the further development and optimization of travel-specific IT systems like booking platforms.
Analyze and prepare information to support the Travel CTO Taskforce.
Support company-wide personnel development measures like hackathons or meetups in the travel sector.
Actively participate in exchange formats at other travel locations in Germany.

What We're Looking For

An excellent university degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
Good knowledge in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Golang, Java, PHP, C#) and in Linux/DevOps.
Experience working with AI tools like Cursor; familiarity with terms like LLM, RAG, or MCP.
High willingness to learn and motivation to constantly learn and apply new technologies and programming languages.
Quality awareness, hands-on mentality, enjoyment of development, teamwork, high performance readiness, and very good communication skills.
Negotiation-level German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
