SONDA is hiring a Software Backend Developer in Panama. You will focus on the maintenance, support, and development of our backend systems. You'll join a team passionate about leveraging technology to transform our clients' businesses.

What You'll Do

Carry out maintenance activities on existing developments.
Address specific support requirements from the operations area.
Manage incidents and resolve problems.
Define complementary solutions.
Configure new services.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on developed applications.
Provide third-level problem support.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Programming, or Systems Engineering.
4–6 years of experience in Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Jakarta EE) and C# (.NET Core, Entity Framework).
4–6 years of experience in APIs and Microservices: Designing and developing RESTful APIs and SOAP services, with a focus on security, scalability, and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
4–6 years of experience in Databases: Expertise in Oracle Database (PL/SQL, query optimization, triggers, stored procedures, and data modeling).
4–6 years of experience in Infrastructure: Advanced Linux management (Bash scripting, deployments, and log management).
