Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and refine a comprehensive Software Product Assurance framework, reporting directly to the Product Assurance Manager.
- Lead full lifecycle Software Product Assurance for both onboard and ground-based software systems in the satellite network.
- Ensure strict adherence to software configuration control and release protocols, with clear version tracking and engineering rigor.
- Uphold compliance with standards for safety- and mission-critical software, prioritizing risk mitigation and failure avoidance.
- Establish and supervise software testing, verification, and validation approaches across all development and deployment stages.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects during development, testing, integration, and operational phases.
- Support spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing processes, verifying software compliance and readiness at each milestone.
- Manage and coordinate software deliveries from external vendors, ensuring conformity with internal quality, timeline, and standard requirements.
- Lead participation in technical reviews and supplier meetings, collaborating with procurement and assurance teams.
- Maintain high assurance and quality standards while adapting to rapid development timelines in a dynamic space technology setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated background in Flight Software Product Assurance within the aerospace or space sector.
- Solid knowledge of software testing, verification, and validation in high-integrity systems.
- Hands-on experience with embedded flight software for satellites, spacecraft, or payloads, with familiarity in FDIR a plus.
- Proficient in software configuration management tools and associated workflows.
- Knowledge of ECSS standards, especially ECSS-Q-ST-80C and ECSS-E-ST-40C.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with experience in risk assessment and anomaly resolution.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities and tight schedules, with a proactive stance on risk detection and escalation.
- Collaborative team orientation and motivation to contribute to organizational growth.
- Able to work autonomously, take initiative, and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.

- Experience with automated workflows, scripting, or AI-enhanced engineering tools such as prompt-based systems.
- Background in fast-scaling aerospace startups or high-growth technical environments.
