Responsibilities
- Lead audio software initiatives and define long-term technical strategy.
- Design and refine Android audio architecture to support new audio features and capabilities.
- Build and optimize audio components for low-latency and immersive audio performance.
- Work closely with hardware and digital signal processing (DSP) teams to ensure system-wide audio reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve audio issues spanning multiple system layers.
- Monitor and adopt updates from the Android platform to integrate emerging audio technologies.
Requirements
- Proficient in C and C++ programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Android audio subsystems such as Audioflinger and Audio HAL.
- Understanding of audio signal processing principles and integration with DSP components.
- Skilled in debugging and performance profiling of audio systems.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth audio protocols and audio codec technologies.

Compensation
The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $142,600-$196,000. The hiring range for other work locations may vary.
