Responsibilities
- Monitor various security event sources to detect possible security incidents
- Conduct initial assessment and investigation of alerts to identify root causes and potential impact
- Raise critical security incidents to senior security operations personnel or leadership when required
- Examine log data to uncover signs of security threats and communicate findings to management
- Support the creation and upkeep of security policies and operational procedures
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry developments
