Responsibilities
- Embrace and uphold the company's core values.
- Follow all safety protocols and remain vigilant of the work environment.
- Set concrete forms to the required slope and depth, ensuring proper alignment.
- Inspect forms to confirm they are correctly built.
- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using tools such as rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, screeds, and floats.
- Monitor how weather conditions like wind, heat, or cold affect concrete curing throughout the process.
- Create a rough concrete surface texture using a broom.
- Shape expansion joints and edges with edging tools, jointers, and straightedges.
- Clean chipped areas with a wire brush and assess the surface for roughness or unevenness by touch and sight.
- Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the concrete surface and provide waterproofing or restoration.

- May be required to travel out of town for project work.
- May work irregular hours, including early mornings, weekends, shift work, and possibly on-call; generally longer hours in summer.
- Work in all weather conditions, including noisy, wet, cold, hot, dirty, windy, and dusty environments.
- While performing duties, regularly reach with hands and arms; frequently stand, talk, hear, walk, use hands and fingers, handle materials, and operate tools and equipment. Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 120 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include near vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
