About the Role
The engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated equipment at customer sites, providing technical support, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission automated systems at customer facilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex problems
- Ensure all service activities comply with safety standards
- Document service interventions and outcomes
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Train customer personnel on system operation and safety
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Maintain accurate records of parts and service usage
- Follow up on service requests to ensure resolution
- Work on-site at customer locations across Ireland
- Adhere to scheduled maintenance plans
- Support product upgrades and retrofits
- Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical staff
- Ensure equipment meets performance benchmarks
- Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes
- Coordinate with logistics for spare parts delivery
- Report field issues to engineering teams
- Follow quality assurance procedures
