Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of powered land and development sites to confirm suitability
- Analyze the reliability and scalability of utility and on-site power systems at 200MW and above
- Review legal documents, land surveys, geotechnical data, and environmental assessments to determine land feasibility
- Evaluate local permitting regulations and their impact on project timelines
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, and developers to identify viable locations
- Assess vendor capabilities through due diligence and on-site inspections with engineering specialists
- Collaborate closely with data center design teams to align site selection with technical needs
- Manage capacity planning and forecasting across regions and clients to ensure resource availability
- Partner with Finance to analyze long-term infrastructure costs and investment strategies
- Lead negotiations for land purchases and leases with property owners and development partners
Compensation
The base salary for this role ranges from $175,000 to $235,000 annually, based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Total compensation may include equity through stock options.
