Responsibilities
- Automate and oversee cloud services on Azure, along with monitoring tools including Datadog, NGINX, and Cloudflare
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and serverless computing environments
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Custom Resource Definitions, and Crossplane
- Monitor and optimize platform performance by refining systems, workflows, and technology stacks
- Participate in designing new application architectures and development strategies
- Develop automation strategies to minimize manual effort and operational burden
- Define and implement Service Level Indicators and Objectives to improve system observability
- Work with Product teams to align platform capabilities with agreed service level agreements
- Partner with Platform Engineers to build automated deployment and management solutions
- Optimize infrastructure and delivery pipelines to improve end-user experience
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and Flux
- Lead incident response efforts to maintain high availability and protect customer experience
