Kraken is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer - AI Agents

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the foundational infrastructure that powers AI agent operations in production environments.
  • Guarantee high availability, performance at scale, and clear system visibility for agent-based applications across internal and customer-facing products.
  • Develop platform-level tools, APIs, and software development kits to simplify access to AI infrastructure for engineering teams.
  • Provide and oversee compute resources, orchestration systems, and model serving platforms used for AI inference and agent execution.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes suited to machine learning and agentic workloads.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, to deploy and manage cloud resources on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for AI services and agent workflows.
  • Define system safeguards, error handling strategies, and recovery mechanisms tailored to LLM-driven and autonomous agent systems.
  • Work closely with AI and data engineering teams to transition experimental agent models into robust, production-grade systems.
  • Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure reliable scaling and deployment of AI services.
  • Enforce security policies and access restrictions across AI infrastructure environments.
  • Maintain clear documentation of system designs, operational procedures, and recommended practices for team-wide use.
