Cigna Healthcare is looking for a Singapore & Australia FP&A Lead to provide financial leadership and strategic insight for our businesses in these markets. This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Singapore Financial Controller, guiding the financial planning process and collaborating across functions to enhance performance.
What You'll Do
- Own the quarterly financial reforecasting and annual business planning activities.
- Monitor financial KPIs and report monthly results to local management and the international head office.
- Analyze business results and the key drivers of variance against plan and forecast.
- Manage underlying financial models, key assumptions, expense tracking, and reporting templates.
- Collate and prepare presentation materials for the annual business plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Provide financial and strategic support for the annual 5-year strategy plan exercise.
- Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Lead the Singapore claims committee to monitor claims performance across all business lines.
- Deliver on a range of ad hoc financial analysis as required.
- Manage a team of 3-4 staff, proactively collaborate with local finance and other functions, and interact closely with the head office FP&A team.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree in finance, actuarial studies, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of finance or actuarial experience within the insurance industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with FP&A, financial modeling, and executive presentations.
- The ability to sort through complex data, identify key drivers and trends, and communicate findings effectively to staff and senior management.
- A dynamic individual who can build and lead an effective team and collaborate across the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong sense of ownership with a proactive and independent mindset.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
- The capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for key deliverables.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
- Health actuarial experience is preferred.
