Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
- Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space
- Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.
- Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance
- Reviews of orders for special requests and shipping information
- Receive incoming shipments.
- Pull original order(s), match order to incoming shipment and move the products to inventory.
- Complete RFQ to audit all items received back transportation needs.
- Audit Bill of Lading to ensure all items received are complete and not damaged or incorrect.
- Review full cycle accounts in inventory staging area that align all processing counts.
- Match all original requests, orders, received or shipped products, track late orders with follow-up and documentation, move material to inventory control area, return damaged or incorrect products, document all processes on company computers for record retention, communicate with management on any concerns.
- Pack products in containers for storage or shipment.
- Unpack containers for inventory receiving
- Move material with use of carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklift; backfill material shortages for departmental needs
- Perform cycle count on inventory and resolve count variances on a weekly basis
- Maintain data and records related to shipping and receiving activities
- Assembling all incoming PO specifications and creating forecasts with inventory control coordinator rack require
- Coordinating with QA on all outgoing and incoming shipments quality status
- Reconciling all discrepancies on goods received and reporting discrepancies to management when needed
- Assumes all other responsibilities as assigned

- The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending.
- Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone.
- Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile.
- Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment.
- Employees may be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
