About the Role
This role is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of integrated SHEQ management systems, ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies, and promoting a culture of safety and quality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations
- Assist in maintaining certification to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit readiness
- Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Deliver SHEQ training programs to employees and contractors
- Support risk assessments and hazard identification processes
- Maintain documentation for SHEQ management systems
- Track key performance indicators and report on SHEQ metrics
- Collaborate with site teams to improve safety performance
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Promote behavioral safety initiatives across locations
- Review and update safety procedures and work instructions
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback
- Coordinate with external regulatory bodies as needed
- Assist in the development of SHEQ policies and standards
- Facilitate management review meetings for SHEQ systems
- Track non-conformances and verify closure of actions
- Support sustainability and environmental protection goals
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align SHEQ objectives
