Responsibilities
- Lead the design and release of stamped sheet metal components and assemblies for pickup truck bed systems, delivering innovative and efficient solutions.
- Ensure part designs align with cost, weight, and performance targets throughout all development phases.
- Analyze cross-sections, components, and subsystems to optimize part design for overall vehicle efficiency.
- Create and use CAD models to evaluate design alternatives and support production part development.
- Collaborate on developing simulation environments to test new body system concepts affecting handling, safety, and driver experience.
- Support prototype development for both virtual validation and physical testing, including real-world field evaluations.
- Monitor end-user feedback and suggest design enhancements to improve product functionality and user satisfaction.
- Assist in designing manufacturing facilities for body systems used in truck and SUV production.
- Oversee resource allocation and coordination with supplier partners to ensure timely delivery and quality.
- Serve as a core team member for body structures and coordinate with cross-functional departments across the organization.
Compensation
Full-time, exempt position with base salary and eligibility for annual performance bonus.

Pay Transparency
- This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
- Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
- The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
- Initial Base Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00
