Responsibilities
- Focus on platform operations and infrastructure as a SharePoint Administrator.
- Manage the enterprise collaboration platform used by shipyard leadership and operational teams.
- Oversee SharePoint Server 2016/2019 environments.
- Configure site collections, web applications, and content databases.
- Manage permissions, Active Directory integration, and security policies.
- Perform system health monitoring, patching, and upgrades.
- Support SharePoint migrations from On-Premises to Online or Hybrid.
- Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and governance policies.
- Support IIS, Windows Server, and SQL Server integrations.
- Provide Tier II/III support for SharePoint users.
- Build tools that automate workflows and modernize collaboration systems across the shipyard as a SharePoint Developer.
- Create solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Develop custom SharePoint functionality using SPFx.
- Integrate systems using REST APIs and SQL.
- Develop client-side components using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Support both SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises environments.
- Design automated workflows that support operational processes.
- Integrate SharePoint with enterprise data sources and services.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher).
- 5+ years of relatable experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Experience supporting SharePoint environments.
- Experience with either SharePoint administration or development.
- Ability to work on-site in Portsmouth, VA.
- Must have valid driver’s license and transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be a US Citizen.

- Personnel with Knowledge Management, SharePoint portal administration, or enterprise collaboration platform experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Certification Requirements
Most of our contracts require DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) compliance. We built 8140.study - our certification training platform - to help. This helps you study for certifications such as the CompTIA Security+.
