Responsibilities
- Minimum of four years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint platforms.
- At least three years focused on customizing SharePoint, particularly on SharePoint 2010 environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in code-level customization using C#, ASP.NET, XML, and integration with GAC, Web Parts, Event Receivers, JavaScript, Workflows, Object Models, schema.xml, Forms, and Master Pages.
- Proven track record as an architect on two large-scale, global enterprise projects handling high data volumes and concurrent users, or four medium-sized enterprise-wide initiatives involving content or records management.
- Familiarity with Information Architecture, design patterns, and adherence to industry best practices in solution design.
- Experience designing systems using Service-Oriented Architecture, URI namespace strategies, SEO principles, branding, UI/UX design, and application security frameworks.
- Documented experience creating architectural and design specifications using UML, Object-Oriented Analysis, and Object-Oriented Design methodologies.
- Participation in pre-sales and post-sales technical evaluations for SharePoint stack selection, including effort estimation using various modeling techniques.
- Active involvement in code reviews, performance and scalability analysis, and hands-on development of proof-of-concept solutions.
- Strong grasp of emerging technologies and tools, with the ability to recommend viable alternatives backed by clear business value.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Foundation 2010, virtualization technologies including VMware, XenServer, and Hyper-V, as well as Windows Server 2008 R2, IIS 7.0, and Active Directory.
- Solid understanding of web standards including XHTML, HTML, XML, DocTypes, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, RSS and ATOM feeds, Microformats, UserAgent targeting, and web mashups.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals such as DMZ configurations, load balancing, and firewall implementations.
- Experience using performance and memory profiling tools, along with debugging utilities for troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of software configuration management, continuous integration pipelines, and related tooling.
- Familiarity with core web and network security principles and implementation strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative team orientation, strong organizational skills, positive mindset, and a sense of ownership in project delivery.
- Experience with iterative development approaches; exposure to Agile methodologies is advantageous.
