The Server Platform Development Manager will lead engineering efforts in the development of AI enterprise systems across Server and Storage platforms for external customers. This role is central to the Core Team within Dell’s Product Development Management team in Taipei, Taiwan, driving innovation and managing the full product lifecycle from concept to release.
What You'll Do
- Represent platform engineering in the Core Team and collaborate with value chain partners including Program Manager, Product Management, Product Operation, Quality, Service, and Supply Chain
- Oversee and coordinate development efforts across diverse engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and technical partners to ensure alignment and success
- Lead and drive engineering development to meet program schedule, quality goals, and budget targets
- Drive solution and release readiness with a closed-loop focus on best practices across portfolios and business units
- Apply strong business insights to drive strategic decisions and optimize project outcomes to meet customer needs
What We're Looking For
- 12 to 15 years of related experience in a professional role
- Excellent knowledge and application of engineering concepts along with effective problem-solving ability
- Solid understanding of business environment and competition
- Ability to manage, motivate and direct a cross-functional workgroup; and drive successful negotiations
- Solid interpersonal and presentation skills
