Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner
- Map keywords to user intent, search behavior, and buyer journey stages
- Build SEO-driven content strategies aligned with organic traffic and conversion goals
- Identify content gaps, ranking opportunities, and competitor weaknesses
- Optimize metadata, title tags, headings, internal linking, image alt text, and URL structures
- Implement structured data and schema markup where applicable
- Ensure content remains SEO-friendly while maintaining readability and brand voice
- Perform content audits and provide recommendations for optimization or expansion
- Conduct technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, SEMrush, or similar tools
- Identify and resolve crawl issues, indexation problems, duplicate content, broken links, and redirect errors
- Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall site performance
- Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, canonical tags, and crawl optimization strategies
- Develop ethical and scalable link-building strategies including outreach, partnerships, guest posting, and PR opportunities
- Monitor backlink profiles and identify toxic or low-quality links for cleanup/disavowal
- Improve domain authority and organic trust signals over time
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, engagement, and conversion performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Build dashboards and reporting systems in Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar tools
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations
- Analyze trends and adjust SEO strategies based on data and algorithm updates
- Partner with content writers, developers, designers, and marketing teams to execute SEO initiatives
- Provide SEO guidance during website redesigns, migrations, and product launches
- Support content planning and landing page optimization initiatives
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional SEO experience
- Proficiency with SEO tools including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO best practices
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify
- Understanding of keyword research, search intent, and organic growth strategy
Nice to Have
- Experience improving rankings for competitive or high-volume keywords
- Familiarity with advanced technical SEO audits and structured data/schema markup
- Experience with international SEO or multi-language websites
- Exposure to SaaS, e-commerce, content publishing, or high-growth digital brands
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for SEO implementation collaboration
