Responsibilities
- Act as a top-level support expert for the Workday system, troubleshooting advanced functional, data, and workflow challenges across multiple modules
- Manage configuration changes, system upgrades, and testing processes to meet changing business demands, ensuring solutions are sustainable, documented, and follow platform guidelines
- Collaborate with teams across departments to convert business needs into practical Workday configurations, balancing ease of use, compliance, and long-term supportability
- Lead efforts during biannual Workday updates, including assessing impacts, coordinating regression tests, updating documentation, and ensuring smooth rollouts
- Develop and maintain routine and on-demand reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to enhance visibility and operational performance
- Maintain system reliability and data accuracy during key business periods by identifying potential issues early and implementing timely fixes
- Work closely with internal IT groups and outside partners on system integrations, feature improvements, and ongoing optimization projects
- Create and enforce documentation standards, system configurations, and best practices to ensure consistent and efficient use of the platform
- Guide less experienced analysts and promote user proficiency through training materials, reference tools, and regular knowledge transfer sessions
