What You'll Do
Drive the evolution of a cloud-native healthcare platform used daily by millions of people managing diabetes. Take ownership of architectural decisions, advocate for modern engineering practices, and lead by example in building robust, high-performing front-end systems with React.js and TypeScript.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and security teams to define API contracts, implement secure data-sharing workflows, and deliver intuitive user experiences from Figma designs. Champion code quality, performance, and scalability across a distributed, Agile environment.
Mentor fellow developers, lead code reviews, and promote a culture of learning and technical excellence. Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to long-term platform strategy, ensuring sustainable innovation at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of professional software development, with leadership in complex technical projects
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction
- Strong hands-on skills with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and front-end architecture
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Familiarity with design systems, Figma tokens, and translating design into production code
- Ability to work effectively in asynchronous, cross-functional teams across time zones
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Track record of contributing to secure, maintainable, and testable codebases
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with internationalization and multilingual applications
- Knowledge of Docker, containerization, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS
- Background in open-source development and emerging web technologies
