Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing interfaces for configuring, monitoring, and managing multiviewer systems
- Work alongside cross-functional product development teams to align on technical and product goals
- Create responsive and accessible user interfaces using native HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, TypeScript, and Stencil for web components
- Develop modular and reusable UI components for dashboards, alarm displays, signal indicators, layouts, and device settings
- Integrate with backend CGI services written in Perl or Python, enhancing or adapting them into a unified interface layer
- Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries and assist in database schema design and migration planning for new UI features
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to convert operational workflows into clear, user-friendly interfaces
- Analyze and resolve performance issues in the web UI by identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks
- Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure reliable and timely delivery of features
- Engage in peer code reviews to improve code quality, maintainability, and architectural integrity
- Support long-term codebase health through maintenance, refactoring, and reduction of technical debt
