Responsibilities
- Partner with specialists in pipeline design to create, evaluate, and refine construction plans, technical specifications, and budget estimates.
- Perform on-site evaluations and infrastructure condition reviews to verify adherence to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in investigations related to pipeline failures and forensic analysis of pipeline systems.
- Support projects from initial planning through design and construction phases, including new installations and rehabilitation of existing pipelines.
- Apply expertise in the design of pressurized piping systems.
- Conduct structural and stress analysis for pipeline components.
- Offer expert advice to project teams and provide mentorship to early-career engineers.
- Produce, review, and contribute to technical documents, including reports, memos, and investigative findings, with clarity and precision.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, methods, and innovations in pipeline engineering and water conveyance.
- Take part in professional associations such as AWWA or other industry-related organizations.
