What You'll Do
As a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, you will lead outreach efforts within the cardiovascular community across a designated territory in Orlando South, FL. Your primary responsibility is to foster meaningful scientific conversations with healthcare providers, ensuring they have accurate, label-compliant information to support appropriate treatment decisions. You will build trust with physicians, pharmacists, and regional thought leaders by delivering clear, evidence-based insights about approved therapies.
You’ll develop and execute strategic account plans, using CRM tools and real-time data to refine outreach and maximize impact. This includes organizing and supporting speaker programs with approved medical experts, conducting in-office educational sessions, and responding to complex clinical inquiries by connecting with medical support teams. Your work will directly influence prescribing patterns while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific training or at least five years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or clinical healthcare roles such as nursing, medical science liaison, or sales
- Proven ability to communicate clinical data effectively to medical professionals
- Track record of exceeding sales targets through strong account management and customer engagement
- Demonstrated credibility-building with healthcare decision-makers and support staff
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving risk classification
- Minimum age of 21
- Experience in cardiovascular therapeutics is strongly preferred
