Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO strategy for a group of seven content writers.
- Perform in-depth audits covering site structure, crawl efficiency, indexing, Core Web Vitals, schema implementation, and internal linking patterns.
- Investigate, experiment with, and deploy tactics to boost visibility in both traditional search engines and AI-driven results (GEO/AEO).
- Deliver ongoing performance reports on keyword rankings, AI-generated citations, click-through rates, and other critical metrics, including actionable optimization suggestions.
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows to streamline content creation, SEO evaluation, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, and website infrastructure.
- Strong analytical abilities with practical experience using analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Proven experience optimizing content for AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity.
- Solid grasp of structured data (Schema.org), site crawling, indexing processes, and modern web development; software development background is beneficial.
- Track record collaborating effectively with engineering and editorial teams.
- Proficient in leveraging AI tools and automation to enhance SEO processes and scale content output.
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated success growing organic traffic for a startup using content and technical SEO.
- Experience improving visibility on non-Google platforms such as YouTube, Reddit, and Perplexity.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, workflow automation platforms like n8n or Make, and vibe-coding practices.
- High motivation and a strong sense of humor.
- Fluency in more than one language.
